Open to Offas

The “Open to Offas” challenge event.

• Distance / Time Limit:
  • 31 miles (50 km) with an 11.5-hour time limit (cut off at 1 pm at checkpoint 3)
  • 23 miles (37 km) with an 8.5-hour time limit (start time: 08:30)
  • 15.5 miles (25 km) with a 6.5-hour time limit (start time: 09:30)
• Start Location: Cilcain Village Hall, CH7 5NN
• Route: Three routes over the Clwydian Hills using the Offas Dyke Path
• General Notes:
  • A warm welcome awaits both walkers and runners of all abilities.
  • New for 2024: a 31-mile (50 km) option.

  • Cost: £10 (LDWA members), £15 (non-LDWA members) before June 1st.
  • After June 1st: £12 (LDWA members), £20 (non-LDWA members).
  • All on-the-day entries: £20.
  • The cost includes parking, refreshments, and a certificate.
