What is Mind’s Marathon in May?

Join #TeamMind and take on the ultimate running achievement by completing a marathon in May! Run it your way, whenever and however you like throughout the month.

We’re challenging you to run 26.2 miles, raise money and fight for mental health.

New to running? Take it 1 mile at a time, in a way that works around your lifestyle.

Or are you a keen runner who fancies a challenge? Why not aim to run a marathon in one go, or over a couple of weekends?

Whatever way you run it, you’ll make a huge difference to those of us with mental health problems. You’ll help Mind to stay on the end of the phone, be present in local communities, and continue to campaign hard for mental health issues.

How do I sign up?

Registration is free and easy.

  1. Click the register button above. This will take you to our Facebook group for the event.
  2. At the top of the Facebook group, you’ll find a pinned post with a link to a registration form. Complete this form and choose which platform you’d like to fundraise through – Just Giving or Facebook.
  3. If you don’t have Facebook, you can complete a form here instead. 
  4. Once you’ve set up your fundraising page, we’ll send you a t-shirt and mile tracker in the post.

There’s no minimum fundraising target for this challenge but fundraising pages come with an automatic £150 target. You can choose to increase this, decrease it, or keep as it is.

All we ask is that you get active, support your mental health and try to raise as much as you can.
