- Event Name: Cracoe Cracker Challenge

- Start Time: 08:30 and 09:00
- Location: The event starts from the picturesque Cracoe Village Hall in Skipton, BD23 6LQ, situated in the Yorkshire Dales region.
- Terrain and Views: The challenge offers a bit of everything: open moors, quiet footpaths, and fantastic views (weather permitting). Participants can expect a scenic and varied route.
- Distances and Routes:
- 25 Miles: This longer route takes walkers and runners through open moors, quiet paths, and scenic landscapes. It heads up onto Cracoe and Rylstone Fell, passing through Thorpe, before returning to Cracoe.
- 12 Miles: A shorter option, this route also explores the beautiful surroundings, including Boss Moor and Linton, before returning to Cracoe Village Hall.
- Checkpoints and Refreshments:
- There will be five well-stocked checkpoints along the 25-mile route and two checkpoints for the 12-mile route.
- All food and drink provided by the West Yorkshire LDWA organizers are included in the entry fees.
- At the finish, participants can enjoy hot food, refreshments, and a warm welcome back.
- Cut-off Time: There is a cut-off time at 2:30 pm at Checkpoint 3 (12 miles). Participants not through this checkpoint will be asked to retire.

- Entries are restricted to the first 125 participants and will close when this maximum is reached.
- On-the-day entries (if available) will have slightly higher costs.

- Accommodation: If you’re planning to stay nearby, there are several accommodations within 20 km of the event, including bunk houses, hostels, and campgrounds.
