- Participants can choose from three distances:
- 26 miles: A challenging route covering mainly field paths, tracks, woods, and some roads through undulating countryside with good views from hills.
- 18 miles: A slightly shorter option for those seeking a less strenuous walk.
- 12 miles: Specifically for runners, joggers, and fast walkers.

- The Shillington Shuffle is part of the BBN Triple Challenge.
- The route offers beautiful views from the hills and takes participants through varied terrain.
- Refreshments are provided at checkpoints along the way.
- Entry includes hot and cold drinks, biscuits at the start, snacks and drinks at all checkpoints, a light meal at the finish, a certificate for finishers, and a badge (free on request while stocks last).
